Banquet & Event Policies

Thank you for choosing the Windsor Yacht Club to host your Special Function. We require a $500.00 deposit to book a Member function. We require a $1000.00 deposit for Non-Member function. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Deposit will be applied to final balance and is non refundable if function is cancelled less than 18 months prior to function date.

All functions are subject to verification of sponsoring member in good standing.

Food and Beverage

Confirmation of menu is required no later than 2 weeks prior to the date of the event. Confirmation of number attending is required no later than 1 week prior. This guaranteed number or actual number served, whichever is higher, is the total that will be charged to your account. The Windsor Yacht Club will be prepared to serve an additional 10% over the guarantee.Vegetarian or other special dietary meal requests will be accommodated with advance notice to the kitchen. All food and beverage items must be provided by the Windsor Yacht Club unless by prior arrangement. These items may be subject to a preparation/service fee. All food and beverage items are subject to 15% Gratuity and GST. Banquet prices are guaranteed for 30 days from date issued and are subject to change thereafter.

Attendees of private functions are subject to the same conditions involving responsible service of alcohol as Members of WYC and as such is subject to all laws regarding the same.

Hosts and Sponsors of private events are responsible for the behaviour of the guests as per the by-laws of The Windsor Yacht Club. All fines and/or tickets in relation to violating any Federal or Provincial Law must be paid for by the Member or host.
