Around the Island Race

Calling ALL WYC boaters!     Join in the Around the Island Race Date is to be determined.
 
Easy, Fun and you could Win!
WYC Power Boats and Sail Boats are invited to this free fun race to vie for the Memorial PC Greg Gaudette Trophy.
 
This race is like a Sunday ride on the lake with friends and family. The only difference is bragging rites for those who finish first.

How does the the Around the Island Race include BOTH Sail and Power Boats?  Download the Racing Instructions/Sailing Instructions or the Notice of Race/SI's for all the info you will need.  Simply put there are;
 
Two courses: one for sail boats, one for power boats.
Two starts: one for sail boats, one for power boats.
One Trophy in honour of PC Greg Gaudette: awarded for first place in Sail & in Power.
Two Pickle jars: for the last place in Power, and in Sail
 
All boats start and finish in front of the club.
